Apple launched a new Apple TV 4K with Siri AI and remote-free voice commands today, according to TechCrunch. The update pushes voice-first navigation into the living room and shows Apple’s strategy to deepen Siri across home entertainment and services. It also raises the stakes for rival streamers that have leaned on remotes and basic assistants ahead of the holiday shopping season.
TechCrunch reports the device costs $299 and goes on sale November 13, with availability details beyond that date still unclear. According to the outlet, users will control playback, search, and app actions by voice via Siri, with the box listening for commands without a remote for supported tasks. Watch for preorder timing, regional pricing, and whether Apple outlines hardware specs, privacy safeguards, and third-party app support in the coming days. [Developing. This article will be updated.]
