Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 1, 2026

1. Who We Are

TechGlobal Media operates TechGlobal.news and tech-news-ai.com — a global technology news platform and an AI-assisted news coverage service for startups and businesses. Our registered operations are based in Florida, United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use either platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

  • Usage data — pages visited, time on site, referral source, and browser type (via server logs). This data is aggregated and not linked to individuals.
  • Feedback submissions — content you voluntarily submit through our feedback form, including any contact information you choose to provide.
  • Newsletter subscriptions — your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter digest.
  • Studio account data — if you create an account on tech-news-ai.com, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We never store plain-text passwords.
  • Payment data — payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and continuously improve the Platforms
  • To respond to feedback, inquiries, and support requests
  • To send newsletter digests you have subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To authenticate authorized Studio users and administrators
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized API access
  • To fulfill service agreements with Studio advertising clients

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies for authenticated users (Studio accounts and admin users only). These cookies are essential for the service to function and expire when you close your browser or log out.

We do not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking pixels, or third-party ad networks on TechGlobal.news. Third-party content embedded on the site (such as YouTube videos) may set their own cookies governed by the respective third party's privacy policy.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings; however, this may affect the functionality of authenticated features.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in secured cloud infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encrypted passwords using PBKDF2 with unique salts
  • Rate limiting on all public API endpoints to prevent abuse
  • HTTP security headers (HSTS, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options) on all responses
  • Access controls restricting admin functionality to authorized personnel only

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes. Newsletter subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@techglobal.news.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Platforms:

  • Replit — cloud hosting and infrastructure
  • OpenAI — AI content generation for editorial and Studio articles
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • YouTube — embedded video content (governed by Google's privacy policy)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the data practices of third-party services.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and personal data
  • Opt-out — unsubscribe from newsletters at any time using the link in any email

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers by email. Continued use of the Platforms after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
